TEKsystems is searching for qualified candidates for a Business Default Specialist position with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Vienna, VA Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm EST Pay:* $21.43 hourly (Vienna, VA)* Location: Vienna, VA - HYBRID onsite 2 days per week required * Tuesday is a required day onsite - 2nd day onsite during the week is flexible * Must be able to meet NFCU Telework Requirements to be able to work from home efficiently and effectively (attached in this email to review) Job Description: To review, control and collect on defaulted small business products to include loans, credit cards, business lines of credit and deposit accounts. Identify, investigate and determine appropriate steps to mitigate losses and protect Navy Federal assets. Serve as subject matter expert regarding section functions, systems, policies and/or procedures. Work is performed under moderate supervision. Qualifications: * Very phone heavy job - Call Center experience * Outbound: They choose when to dial out, manage their day/workload (Roughly 70 outbound calls per day) * Inbound: Roughly 5 -10 calls per day * Customer Service/Speaking with Members and having difficult conversations * Collections Background is helpful but not required * Financial or Legal Background is helpful but not required * HR experience is applicable for difficult conversations * Ability to work in multiple computer systems and savvy Skill Set: * first and foremost: excellent communication skills, extrovert, can communicate very well * having character, integrity, trust, respect, honesty * treating others the way they want to be treated * high volume, fast-paced area so not one for the weak or lazy * ensure this candidate understands: Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging - flexibility and adaptably - switch gears quickly * actively seeking to find ways to help, find problems to address and naturally driven ability * Multitasking is a must Performance: * Quality Assurance to monitor their calls. Mentor/Peer desk audits * balance between call volume/how many calls they are making and how much they are collecting * based on the peer group, the accounts they are assigned and how well they manage their workload * no current scorecard, they have tools to ensure they are doing their job * they are in a specialized department so creating strict number expectations is not realistic.
