*Description*
Payroll Processing: -Utilize payroll software for processing weekly payroll, ensuring adherence to company policies, union agreements, and regulatory compliance. -Maintain accurate records and documentation, including union dues processing and compliance reporting. -Collaborate effectively with HR, finance, and project management teams to address payroll-related queries and issues. -Verify timecards, hours worked, overtime, and any other relevant data for payroll processing. -Collaborate with branch manager to address any questions or concerns related to dues processing. -Compile, track, and process payroll for prevailing wage projects to ensure compliance with applicable internal and external requirements. -Generate various payroll reports for management review and analysis as needed. Accounts Receivable Management: -Process monthly pay applications and invoices using Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project contracts. -Actively manage accounts receivable aging, conducting follow-ups on overdue invoices to ensure timely payments. -Serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries, fostering strong relationships with clients and resolving billing disputes amicably. -Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to accurately document project progress and billable amounts. -Review contract terms, change orders, and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy of pay applications. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* MUST HAVE: -High school diploma or equivalent -Proven experience in payroll processing -Proven experience in accounts receivable or billing -Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll software, QuickBooks Enterprise, and Microsoft suite (Excel, Word) -Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers -Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements -Excellent organizational and time management skills -Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion -Effective communication and interpersonal skills -Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work well under pressure -Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders NICE TO HAVE: -Additional education in accounting, finance, or related field preferred SOFTWARE PROGRAMS: -ADP -QuickBooks -MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v look up are desirable skills) *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
