CCFBank is currently searching for a Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team! The Corporate Governance Specialist supports the company's adherence to policy, procedure, and third-party risk management objectives. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this position manages and maintains enterprise policy and procedure inventories and coordinates periodic review and approvals by business line owners, management committees, and the Board of Directors. The position facilitates ongoing monitoring of the bank's vendors and vendor database, which includes collecting, disseminating, and maintaining documentation to support the bank's compliance with Third Party risk regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of analytical, technical, communication, and organizational skills and has previous risk management, bank policy, TPRM or compliance experience. Bonus points if you are community focused and excited about making a positive difference to those around you.

Primary Responsibilities:

Policy and Procedure Management

  • Coordinates annual policy review and approval by Management Committees, Board Committees and the Board of Directors; prepares and distributes policy materials in advance of the meetings; manages and maintains policy approval schedule, policy database, and policy documentation.
  • Coordinates management's periodic review and updating of business line procedural documentation. Creates, manages, and maintains procedure database; publishes content to the bank's intranet.

Third-Party Risk Management

  • Collaborates with colleagues to understand the scope of services provided by third parties.
  • Collects vendor due diligence material and coordinates with vendor owners, the Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Info Security Officer to ensure Third-Party Risk is accurately documented, managed, and mitigated.
  • Assists in maturing the Third-Party Risk Management program and procedures.
  • Maintains business continuity documentation and testing schedule.
  • Manages the bank's NVendor and NContinuity software.
  • Ensures enterprise documentation complies with Third Party Risk management rules and regulations.

Corporate Administration

  • Maintains filing and record keeping systems of all corporate entity documentation
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality with discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including administration support for project initiatives.

Chief Risk Officer Support

  • Organizes data, processes reports, and maintains complex data workbooks.
  • Reviews regulatory and legal text; performs ad hoc research.
  • Monitors for new and changing regulations; communicates changes to business line owners.
  • Participates in special projects and tasks of a diverse nature as directed.
  • Supports the compliance and enterprise risk governance framework through ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in administration, business, technology or related field.
    • Substitution: At least seven (7) years of experience working in bank policy, risk, TPRM, or compliance role.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in a bank policy, risk, TPRM, or compliance role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn and adapt to a variety of software programs.
