Project Manager I

The Project Manager I is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the management of smaller, less complex projects under the supervision of senior project managers. This role will develop skills in planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to ensure project success and assist in overseeing all phases of project execution.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager I: $59,000 - $91,000 plus annual bonus.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Project Manager I Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the development and evaluation of project plans and budgets.
  • Support the coordination of project team activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Track project progress and report updates to the Project Manager or senior leadership.
  • Assist with identifying resources needed for project tasks and assigning responsibilities.
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, ensuring projects are on track.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Address issues or delays with guidance and assist with mitigation plans.
  • Help manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support risk management efforts and identify potential risks with guidance.
  • Provide basic administrative support for the project team, such as organizing meetings or preparing status reports.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Project Manager I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple small tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under guidance from senior staff.
  • Proactive and eager to learn and develop project management skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
