Overview

BAI., a Defense contractor, is seeking a Software Developer, Systems Software with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline experience with 3+ years of experience who will analyze user needs, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. You will work within a SAFe/Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions for a Department of Defense (DoD) program at Naval Base Point Mugu near Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00 USD to $140,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Support

    Provide support for the CI/CD pipeline as directed and as managed by the SAFe, Agile, Kanban, and/or Scrum processes and backlog
  • Manage and maintain the pipeline, pipeline tools, establish and automate control gates, and automate builds and pipeline reporting mechanisms
  • Support continuous build, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment of software

Pipeline Tools

  • Provide support for the design, development, installation and upgrade of development, support and tools as directed and follow IPT/SSA processes and procedures
  • Analyze, design, develop, and deliver tools
  • Analyze existing tools and identify recommended solutions to designing new test tools or upgrading new tests to meet emerging or changing requirements
  • Provide pipeline tools support documentation

CI/CD Pipeline Automation

  • Provide support for the implementation of automation within the CI/CD pipeline as directed and follow IPT/SSA processes and procedures
  • Support automation to the extent possible of test scripts, cybersecurity scans, and pipeline control gates

Base Image Support

  • Provide support for the CI/CD pipeline as directed and as managed by the SAFe, Agile, Kanban, and/or Scrum processes and backlog
  • Manage and maintain the base images for development teams
  • Ensure base images include the latest security and other patches to protect the security posture
  • Support monthly base image updates
  • Provide base image support documentation

Feedback

  • Provide support for feedback loops within the CI/CD pipeline as directed and as managed by the SAFe, Agile, Kanban, and/or Scrum processes and backlog
  • Support coordination with, responding to, and assisting the development teams housed within the CI/CD pipeline or software factory
  • Provide software product development planning and execution support documentation
  • May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
  • May supervise computer programmers


Qualifications

  • Between 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description
  • Experience with Visual Studio development environment software
  • Experience with C++, C#, Microsoft ActiveX; and Python object or component oriented development software
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
  • Ability to work independently; self-starter
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Education:

BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree; or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree. Over 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description

Clearance:

Condition of employment - must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

The applicants selected will be subject to a T5 security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
