ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Development of presentations to upper leadership that can quantify and convey risk, schedule, cost and be easily received. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE: * Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline and 8 years of recent Surface Combatant Weapons System experience OR 10 years of Surface Combatant-related Surface Combatant experience can substitute for Bachelor's degree. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. TRAVEL: Yes. Primarily short (1 or 2 days) trips. WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
