About the Job

The Design Workflows Production Specialist will be responsible for upholding, and creating design production standards. The Design Workflows Production Specialist will foster relationships with key associates across the organization, Architectural and Structural Design teams, and VDC / Operational Support Center Teams to ensure the successful completion of deliverables.

The position will report to the Director, Digital Workflows. The Design Workflows Production Specialist will play an integral role in the JPI BIM department to ensure that project move efficiently through all phases of design and construction.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Revit Families and manage the standard Revit Family Library based on design need

  • Manage project issues and foster a collaborative environment to ensure the necessary changes are documented and changes are implemented in future projects

  • Support Design and External modeling teams with BIM Related QC to ensure that all JPI Standard and Practices are met and that all sets are graphically correct/ consistent

  • Attend and support Design team coordination meetings with external modeling teams

  • Continually work to find areas of efficiency in process while continually collaborating with internal VDC and Design teams

  • Manage Revit Templates to keep them in alignment with all standard processes and team needs

Non-essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Experience in coding with Revit (Dynamo, Python, C+)

  • Experience in Clash Coordination with Navisworks.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • 2+ year of AEC design experience preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail, specifically when reviewing drawings and identifying discrepancies / errors

  • Proficiency in design software with a in depth knowledge in revit (Revit, Bluebeam, Autodesk Cloud, Navisworks)

  • A collaborative mindset focused on efficiency

  • Proactive approach to problem resolution

  • General understanding of building and Architectural design permit drawings
