Part-time Staff Research Associate Pharmaceutical Chemistry Full Time 84740BR Job Summary The lab does research involving 3D cell culture, molecular biology, optical microscopy and mouse cancer models. Our lab is interested in tissue structure and answering questions such as: How do tissues form during development? How do these structures break down during aging and cancer? How can we engineer tissues for regenerative medicine and disease modeling? Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $30.89 - $49.68 (Hourly Rate). The Department's basic research not only identifies new drug targets for small molecule drugs, it also develops the tools and methods to discover such targets and therapies to more rapidly determine their efficacy and safety at the molecular level thus improving the efficiency of the drug discovery process and potentially leading to improved therapeutics.
