What is the opportunity?

Support RBC USWM Head, Banking Products and Governance in reimaging our banking product set to grow the adoption and utilization of cash and payment products, a key component of the cash and lending business in RBC Wealth Management. The Cash Product Analyst is a key team member tracking usage, identifying trends by analyzing client behavior, needs, and preferences making informed recommendation to the Product team. The Cash Product Analyst will work on a variety of initiatives throughout product life cycle directly impacting product strategy and business performance.

What will you do?

  • Research, collect and analyze data across the product set including cash, payments and lending and combining them into unified, coherent reports.
  • Evaluate the product set and identify competitive gaps and advantages.
  • Maintain competitor data set, escalating new features/functionality to management.
  • Assist in the creation of reports and presentations.
  • Support management of related product policies including implemented recommended enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the compiling of various risk reports supporting product risk management.
  • Analyze, document and recommend enhancements to product reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of product enhancements and projects.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-2 years' experience at a wealth management firm or bank
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63, or the ability to obtain
  • Understanding of bank products and wealth management regulatory and legal requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, including developing relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership as a highly motivate self starter

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's degree

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $85,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
