The Senior Project Manager will lead the activities of project definition for highly complex projects and programs in a matrixed organization. This position will develop detailed project plans incorporating project milestones, resource allocation and review points for the entire project lifecycle. This position is responsible to manage the team to deliver goals of the project. The Senior Project Manager will conduct variance analysis and make recommendations to management for alternatives. They will provide periodic presentations of Project progress to plan for senior management. They will also participate in portfolio management processes, to assist in the selection of the most appropriate initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of equivalent experience required.
  • Master's degree in related field preferred.
  • PMP Certification required or ability to complete PMP certification within 6 months of hiring.
  • Minimum (5) years of project management experience using formal methodologies required.
  • Implementation experience using an enterprise-wide project management system required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
  • Health Care Industry knowledge and experience in managing technology initiatives required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow PPM, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other PPM tools required
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, Vendor management and working with development partners preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and facilitate large and complex initiatives within Information Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate across varying business areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage and shift priorities to meet day to day operational needs as well as mandated deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
