The Senior Product Manager for the Go To Market (GTM) Revenue team will lead product strategy and delivery for a cross-functional team in partnership with leaders across Salesforce Clouds and business units. Drawing from a deep knowledge base in Revenue and Finance, this position will work closely with partners to enhance Trust with our customers and grow their business.
This individual will drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for several areas of the Quote to Cash platform and GTM stack integration and partner with Business Technology, Technology Core Teams, and Go-to-Market Stakeholders on strategies for net new and in-flight strategic programs, feature enhancements, and cloud integrations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage customers and stakeholders to resolve business capabilities and product features needed to deliver business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic goals and provide recommendations based on your industry and product experience.
- Develop and maintain a multi-track product or program level roadmap for the delivery area that synthesizes the needs of business customers over the long and short term.
- Lead a team of Product Managers and Analysts to deliver high-fidelity and delightful epics, user stories, roadmaps, burn-down, change management, and other success activities to ensure a successful Go-Live.
- Collaborate on M&A and Q2C data frameworks promoting agile, iterative practice to migrate complex acquisitions and cross-entity collaboration.
- Define gaps in our current policies and processes. Look for ways to simplify current and future processes with an eye toward automation.
- Define product and business capability KPIs (short and long term) and provide regular progress updates to the Business and Workstream Leads and the SteerCo/Executive team.
- Use data analysis to resolve strategy to advance operations for customers in all segments and provide analysis on how to move the segments across capabilities and technology paths to reach business outcomes.
- Support data deliverables for decision support and operational processes and system and process implementations for Salesforce Core systems integration strategies; this includes project management responsibilities
- Design and build out strategy key performance indicators and Tableau reporting toolkits for the product team implementing the new Salesforce Revenue Cloud offering to influence and advise Salesforce product development strategy and features directly.
- Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, milestones, etc. (cross-functional - Product Management, Scrum Masters, Engineering, Platform Engineering, TechOps, Release Engineering, Capacity, Functional Managers, Release Management, etc.).
- Participate in program reviews (deep dive into the current state of project goals, risks, escalations) in whatever forum required; anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Product Management or related fields
- 6-8 years of professional experience in quote-to-cash, revenue management, ERP implementations, or relative enterprise software/product management or engineering experience at an enterprise technology company
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with a demonstrated history of efficiently implementing and running SaaS product development programs; solid understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle
- 2+ years of revenue management experience in Product, Engineering, or Operations role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
- Exceptional data analysis skills, including attention to detail and ability to combine various data points to achieve a common goal (people knowledge, data warehouse, Excel files, external tools, other internal data)
- Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives, working teams, and technical and non-technical team members alike
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent self-management practices and an entrepreneurial thinker; exceptional work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks at one time
- Proven project execution skills with a strong desire to document best practices and process improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Go To Market processes and systems
- Experience with eCommerce, Finance, or Revenue processes and systems
- Experience with Salesforce technology
