The Customer Product Quality Specialist is responsible for the Customer Experience within the GPP (Global Product Platform) and acts as the Product Quality interface between Regional Quality and GPP for assigned model families.



Responsibilities

    To identify, consolidate & prioritize current product quality and reliability issues coming from Regional Quality Teams, NH, CASE IH Brands & through analysis of Global Warranty Reporting tools. Analyze warranty claims/data/statistics to quickly identify emerging issues to build technical improvement projects.
  • Accurately define and prioritize product concerns for the 7 Step Process as a key member of the Current Product Management Team with responsibility providing Robust Problem Statement identification for Root Cause development and Resolution Effectiveness. Responsible for warranty parts returns and analysis to drive problem definition and root cause development.
  • To identify and develop Product Improvement Programs (Field Campaigns) with respect to Customer Satisfaction, regulatory & safety concerns. Forecasting completion rates, identifying parts, labor, travel, and other variable expenses as necessary to achieve Regional & Management approval, supervising completion rates and managing any necessary issues through to program closure.
  • To build and maintain quality & reliability Roadmaps with CPM Manager collaboration for assigned Product lines To achieve Product reliability (MERF) & Warranty Cost Targets (CORF) through ongoing analysis.
  • Support plant quality teams in the investigation, problem statement identification and solution development for technical issues.
  • To support discussions & risk assessments vital during Product Safety Reviews.
  • To assist the Platform Team in determining the strategic direction of new products in areas of field quality and reliability, fitness for use, and customer satisfaction based on current Product performance.
  • To regularly report & communicate KPI (key performance indicators) & Product Concern status to stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field: Engineering, Quality Management or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Setting
  • Experience with Data Analytics - Statistics, Pareto, Dashboards, Databases
  • Quality / problem solving / resolution tools: Kaizen, Ishikawa, 5W1H, DMAIC, Seven-step
  • Mobile equipment knowledge (systems, application, operation)
  • Required Technology: Expert Level Excel Skills, Power BI (Preference)

Annual Base Salary range for this role: $84,500 to $124,000 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
