Position Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of initiatives that support the long-term sustainability of the organization and align with its vision, mission, and goals. Lead the development and subsequent refinement as necessary of a just transition process that aligns with the corporate vision, mission, and goals. Lead the execution of the established just transition process upon the organization's entry to communities as well as its exit from communities. Lead efforts to develop an internal education and awareness program on sustainability best practices.


  • Essential Job Tasks:
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Metrics: Selects and reports on sustainability metrics from nationally or internationally recognized disclosure organizations that align with the organization's corporate vision, mission, and goals.
  • Employee Education and Engagement: Leads training and awareness programs to promote sustainability best practices throughout the company, empowering employees at all levels to contribute to the organization's sustainability objectives.
  • Monitor and Track Sustainability Performance: Regularly assesses and reports to senior management on sustainability initiatives, using data to track progress and identify opportunities.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Publishes sustainability reports that communicate results and progress on sustainability efforts to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Advocacy: Serves as a sustainability advocate, internally and externally, sharing achievements and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance sustainability efforts and maintain alignment with industry trends and regulations.


  • Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field + 8 years experience or Master's Degree + 6 years experience.


  • Compensation Information:
    $114,360 - $142,940 (min. - mid.)
