Description
Summary The Maintenance Planner holds a key position in the Plant Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Department is tasked with the responsibility to maintain equipment and facilities in conditions that promote improving equipment uptime, safe working condition and efficient plant operation. The Maintenance Planner works with plant associates, corporate engineering, contractors and OEMs to insure effective maintenance is planned, performed and documented. The Maintenance Planner makes a direct contribution to important plant goals of increasing labor safety & productivity, reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability. This is accomplished by preparing detailed job plans, coordinating key scheduling activities with other departments, ensuring work order data integrity, and ordering and managing spare parts inventories.
