Customer Service Representative

Staffmark is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Ruston, LA. This role is based in an office environment and involves handling customer inquiries, processing work orders, answering phones, and supporting daily office operations.

Pay Rate: $12-$15/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to service/product inquiries
• Input work orders and maintain accurate customer records
• Open and update customer accounts
• Recommend additional services or products based on customer needs
• Process account adjustments and assist with financial transactions
• Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing customer data
• Perform general office tasks including data entry, filing, and dispatch coordination

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Previous experience in dispatch or service-based company is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Professional phone etiquette and excellent listening skills
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required
