Production Operator

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join a dynamic team in Cavetown, MD. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment with supportive leadership and room to advance.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Available Shifts:

• Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd Shift)
• Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3rd Shift)
• Rotating Schedule | 12-Hour Overnight Shift

Responsibilities:

• Start and monitor machines for proper operation
• Repair thread breaks and manage material flow
• Refill service containers with alcohol solutions
• Inspect bobbins and use calipers to ensure precision
• Seal and label boxes, print shipping labels
• Perform quality control checks and record production data
• Keep machines clean and assist with in-process materials
• Collaborate with team members for seamless shift transitions
• Participate in scheduled team meetings and assist across departments as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; vocational or college training a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Good math skills and the ability to work independently
• Open to overtime and flexible scheduling as needed
