Facility Security Officer (FSO)

AGE Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Security Officer (FSO). In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility security, ensuring the protection of classified information, personnel, and physical assets. This position requires a strong understanding of DoD security protocols, facility management, and the ability to implement and maintain comprehensive security programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain facility security policies and procedures in compliance with DoD regulations.
• Oversee physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems.
• Manage personnel security programs, including clearance processing and security awareness training.
• Conduct regular security inspections and vulnerability assessments of the facility.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and other relevant agencies on security matters.
• Maintain accurate records of security clearances, incidents, and investigations.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, preparing detailed reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.
• Provide security briefings and training to employees and visitors.
• Manage the visitor control program and escort procedures for the facility.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a field related to security management, criminal justice, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in facility security or related field.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD security regulations and NISPOM requirements.
• Experience with physical security systems and access control technologies.
• Strong understanding of personnel security procedures and clearance processes.
• Proven track record of successfully managing security programs in high-security environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification.
• Familiarity with Special Access Program security requirements.
• Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity best practices.

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a computer.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs.

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
