Summary:
United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County (UWGMWC) is currently seeking applicants for a 2025 Volunteer Engagement seasonal staff member to support logistics of volunteer projects and events. This role is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) temporary position from August 5th - December 12th.
This position will balance spending their time at the United Way office and off-site at workplaces and community organizations, supporting a variety of administrative/logistics tasks and event-related projects.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: Event Management and Support:
Supply, Inventory and Logistics Management:
Support supply drives that occur during the fall campaign timeframe including delivery and pick-up of supply bins, inventory management, valuation of product, and delivery to recipient organizations.
Community Engagement and Outreach:
Administrative Support:
Assist with the administrative affairs of the Volunteer Engagement Division, including general organizing, project planning, scheduling, basic business correspondence, and follow-through.
Communication and Coordination:
Technical Skills and Tools:
Use Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for effective division administration.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Valid driver's license, reliable automobile, and auto insurance coverage. (Ability to and comfort with driving company cargo van to meetings, appointments, and events, likely several times per week.)
