Overview

American Electric is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Delivery Driver to manage the transportation and delivery of goods while assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and supporting inventory control within the warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to job sites or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
  

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state of Hawaii
• Clean driving record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to drive safely will be required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a member of a Team.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
