Role Descriptions & Responsibilities The DraftSight team is a passionate group of engineers and product specialists dedicated to providing users with a powerful and intuitive 2D CAD software solution. We strive to empower individuals and businesses of all sizes with the tools they need to design, innovate, and bring their ideas to life. We strive to be a leading provider of accessible and user-friendly 2D CAD software, enabling creativity, collaboration, and productivity for professionals and hobbyists worldwide. Our team generates a significant amount of data (CRM, sales reports, marketing data, etc.), we currently have one dedicated resource to analyze this data to gain actionable insights but we now need additional support as our sales channels grow. An intern resource will assist us to: * Optimize sales strategies: Understand which strategies are most effective, identify areas for improvement, and personalize approaches for different customer segments. * Forecast sales accurately: Improve forecasting accuracy to better allocate resources, manage inventory, and set realistic targets. * Identify sales trends and opportunities: Proactively identify emerging trends, customer behavior patterns, and potential new markets. * Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns: Understand how marketing efforts impact sales performance and optimize campaigns for better ROI. Qualifications * Programming skills in SQL, Python and/or R. * Knowledge of and experienced with Excel, Tableau or Power BI * A solid understanding of basic statistical concepts like probability, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and sampling techniques. * Knowledge of how to handle missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies in datasets is important. * Understanding of different data modeling techniques for organizing and structuring data.Ability to clearly communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential. * Identifying and solving problems using data. * Attention to details and Team Collaboration will also be key. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
