Research Associate-Analytical & Tank Farm Characterization, Entry-Level

SRNL's Environmental and Legacy Management Directorate is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Research Associate to support research and development analytical characterization activities related to nuclear materials processing and radioactive waste processing.

The candidate will be engaged in the following activities: (1) performing hands-on sample handling, sample analysis on analytical instrumentation, and support activities in chemical laboratories (both radiological and non-radiological), including work in radiological containment units such as fume hoods and gloveboxes; and (2) assisting with/leading development of experimental plans and hazard analyses for specific project tasks.
