About the Role: We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to join our Specialty team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving various large to mid-scale IT projects across the Specialty business. Pay and Benefits:
- $80,000 - $150,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities: Project Management
- Facilitate the creation of project scope, goals, and deliverables that support project goals
- Define and create project plans for project/program prioritization and implementation
- Participate in the creation and communication of PM best practices and standards
- Utilize Gore's PPM process for portfolio management and resource commitment
- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
- Assess and facilitate resolution of project risks and issues as they are encountered
- Monitorfinancial delivery and issue management processes, being sure to escalate issues and variances to cost and schedule variances where necessary
- Monitor progress and continually updating relevant business stakeholder of program status
- Manage day-to-day work activities proactively identifying and resolving issues that would represent a risk to on-time completion of the project
- Track milestones and deliverables in alignment with enterprise tools (JIRA, MS Project)
- Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the project lifecycle such as requirement analysis, vendor selection, design, development, testing, implementation and hand-over to post-go live support
Organizational Change Management
- Partner with enterprise Program Change Manager(s) as appropriate, to deliver change management plans that support program adoption and sustainment
- Define and drive Specialty business readiness activities
- Develop communications to support awareness, knowledge transfer and readiness across all levels of Specialty
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT project manager
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT project manager with a focus on business application implementation for manufacturing, supply chain, quality, R&D, sales or marketing functions
- Demonstrated experience leading global and cross-functional project teams
- Demonstrated experience writing/creating scope documents and decision memos
- Demonstrated experience communicating project status, daily task management and proactive issue tracking and resolution
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple and competing priorities and projects
- Proficient with JIRA or MS Project and MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate and present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in global teams and across diverse groups with a common goal
- Ability to travel 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP, PMI, or Scrum Master certification
- Prior experience working in an Enterprise/ IT PMO environment
- Experience in an enterprise, large scale technology implementation (e.g.: SAP, MES, QMS)
- Experience applying lean tools (e.g.: Value Steam Mapping, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis) to identify wastes and propose technology-enabled process improvements
- Experience with organizational change management methodologies (e.g.: PROSCI)
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g: GxP, ISO)
- Track record delivering projects utilizing various delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
