JOB MISSION:

Utilize a true hands-on approach to support all key HR functions and programs, ensuring smooth operations and a positive associate experience. Support and participate in various initiatives and projects that support the overall HR strategy.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serve as Tier 1 support for associates on inquiries related to benefits, policies, time off, Workday, and other basic associate relations issues. Escalate questions to subject matter experts outside of Tier 1 scope as needed.

  • Coordinate and execute all HR sponsored activities for all MA factories. Collaborate with other HR members to ensure consistency across all facilities. Primary point of contact for vendors for these events and activities.

  • Provide translation and/or interpreting support as needed including 1:1 conversation, factory townhalls, reporting, presentations, general communication, etc.

  • Assist training & development team with training coordination and interpretation during training as needed.

  • Facilitate new hire orientation and general onboarding practices including i9 retention and ID renewals.

  • Manage Workday transactions for team including creation of jobs, requisitions, job changes, terminations, etc. Responsible for conducting exit interviews, processing unemployment claims and other support duties.

  • Ownership of employee engagement activities such as anniversary acknowledgement, AIC oversight, Employee Newsletter, & posting media content into our Korbyt System.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement; create efficiencies in processes and/or practices.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Fluent written and oral communication in Spanish/English.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, distribution or similar environment a plus. 3+ years of experience preferably supporting HR.

  • Workday experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to interact confidently with all levels of management and internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel & PowerPoint.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
