Prospect Research Specialist
Salary Range: $46,841.60 - $55,099.20
Remote (with occasional onsite meetings in Portland, Maine)

We're looking for a Prospect Research Specialist to power our mission by identifying and qualifying potential donors who can make a meaningful impact. You'll play a key role in building targeted prospect lists, preparing high-quality briefings, and ensuring our donor data is sharp and accurate.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct online and print research to uncover high-potential prospects

  • Create insightful prospect briefings for our fundraising teams

  • Build smart, targeted prospect lists to fuel fundraising success

  • Maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date donor data

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Fluency with databases, research tools, and search engines

  • Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Experience handling sensitive, confidential information preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong computer skills and online search strategies.
