Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Focus on developing a Web application which will automate the CA7 scheduling workflow Lead resolution processes for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors Develop programs in languages such as Shell Script/REXX/JAVA/REACTjs/SQL for Automation initiatives Build interactive user interfaces using NodeJS/REACTJS ensuring responsive and dynamic web applications Develop server-side applications using Java Integrate frontend and backend components to deliver complete web solutions Implement RESTful APIs and microservices Design/develop and maintain databases using Oracle SQL Write SQL queries, stored procedures and optimize database performance Work in Agile teams, participate in code reviews and use version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket Requirements: Ability to work with CI/CD tools/pipelines Ability to work closely with clients to resolve Tool issues Good communication skills, both written and oral, in order to interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff Working knowledge of Job Scheduling, product support and administration with the CA7/CA11 tool set Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF Release/Change Tool (Endevor/ISPW/Remedy) User experience Working knowledge of REXX Working knowledge of IBM Utilities i.e. IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, etc. Demonstrate technical leadership and provide technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor Able to communicate across differing audiences including technical, managerial and vendors Ability to develop technical solution requirements and lead individual or small team initiatives Ability to manage multiple deliverables with various time deliveries from days to months Pay range: $38.01 - $46.01 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
