Description Primary responsibilities will be working the IPA AR accounts for a multi-physician practice. Including processing insurance claims, reviewing EOB'S, submitting appeals, follow up with insurance payers and any other duties as assigned are completed. These individuals are expected to work denied claims under 120 aging to collect payment. This will be a high volume positions, metrics will be tracked with the expectation of holding an average of 35-40 tickets touched per day. This will vary by the dollar amount associated with the ticket, which is why it is a average being measured. Productivity reports sent at the end of every day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Intermediate-Some experience in IPA's. 1-2 years in AR follow-up. Don't currently have the training program Production metrics: 35/day Additional Skills & Qualifications Someone who is experienced within Medical Billing. They must be able to explain the process of appeals and denials, corrected claims, EOB'S. Preferred to have minimum 3-4 years experience within medical billing in a high volume, metric based facility. They currently collect $20-25 million a month as a company. Strong attention to detail, must be organized and quick learner. Effort is key in this role. A go-getter who is eager to continue to grow and develop. IPA experience is a must 1-2 years. Understand concept of working and maintaining patient collections Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, IPA and Third Party payer billing guidelines Strong AR background Ability to comprehend EOB's, work denials and knowledge of appeals process Knowledge of billing secondary and tertiary carriers Experienced with clearinghouse claims correction and resubmission of claims Strong written communication and organizational skills Effective interpersonal skills with ability to handle heavy patient interaction Ability to effectively multi- task and prioritize assignments Experience Level Intermediate Level #westpriority25 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
