This is a contract to hire opportunity that is eligible for conversion after 6 months or contract will extend up to 3 years (36 months).
This will be a hybrid role and the client is open to candidates who would relocate to the following metro areas: Atlanta, Goergia - Birmingham, Alabama - Gulfport, Mississippi. Our energy provider client is looking for a Security/IAM Architect who can help own their cloud security and IAM initiatives. Cloud experience must be in a combination of Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). *Top Skills' Details* - Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM and cloud security for Azure and Oracle - Minimum 5 Years of experience with IAM technologies and protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP - Minimum 5 Years of Experience with IAM Services such as Oracle Identity Domains, Okta, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Entra. *Description* The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect. The primary responsibility of the Cloud Security Architect is to work closely with the Oracle and Azure Cloud Environment Support Architects and Engineers, and the Customer Experience (CX) application Suite (Service, Sales, Eloqua) to identify, implement, and manage the Security requirements and governance of this company's new project in the Cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, IAM technologies, and best practices. The candidate will be required to drive the design, implementation, and management of security solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data. *Develop and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for cloud environments, including Azure and Oracle. Ensure that IAM solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry and Company standards and regulations *Design and maintain the security architecture for IAM, including the development of security policies, standards and procedures. Ensure that IAM solutions align with the overall security strategy and architecture *Manage and oversee the access management lifecycle, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and de-provisioning. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles *Develop and implement identity governance frameworks to ensure that access to systems and data is properly controlled and audited. Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies *Integrate IAM solutions with other security and IT systems, including CIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection solutions. Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications *Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents related to IAM. Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures for IAM related incidents *Stay updated with latest trends and developments in cloud security and IAM. Continuously evaluate and improve IAM solutions to ensure they meet the evolving security needs of the organization *Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices and standards *Work closely with other security and IT teams to ensure that IAM solutions are integrated and aligned with the overall security strategy *Ensure integrations adhere to industry and Company standards *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations with other systems and applications *Create and maintain security architecture diagrams and documentation *Manage changing priorities and direction with varying level of detail and with minimal supervision, all while driving results *Model "Our Values": Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity, and Superior Performance in all endeavors *Effectively organizes tasks, manages multiple shifting priorities, and meets tight deadlines *Act with initiative, speed, and decisiveness *Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships *Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing timely support to ensure minimal disruption to business operations *Skills* identity access management, iam, access management, security architecture, saml, oauth, okta, ping identity, python, powershell, bash, agile, scrum, cissp, cism, ccsp *Top Skills Details* identity access management,iam,access management,security architecture,saml,oauth,okta,ping identity *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP are highly desirable *Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards *Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash *Strong understanding of integration patterns, best practices, and design principles *Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus *Ability to build strong relationships across the cloud security program and stakeholder groups *High degree of initiative and personal ownership *Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills *Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail *Adaptable to change and provide value in a dynamic and fast paced environment *Ability to apply strong strategic thinking to a diverse set of opportunities and challenges, serving as a true strategic partner and enabler of all facets related to business and customer processes and enabling technology *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
