Title: Install Technician - Security Systems Location: DFW metro area Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire Contract Type: W2 Pay Rate: $28-32 per hour based on experience Start Date: ASAP in April *Top Required Skills:* 1) Must have 3+ years experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video and intrusion systems. 2) Must have prior experience installing and servicing security equipment at customer sites in Commercial environments. 3) Extensive experience with low voltage cabling - terminations, testing, snaking, punch downs, using conduit, piping, cable management, etc. *Job Description* TEKsystems is looking for someone that can work on projects for installation, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, access control, IP cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics, IP network and visitor management. * Ability to organize and manage workload in an efficient/ effective manner * Ability to interact with customer * Manage quality control and provide customer service * Responsible for project tracking *Skills: *Installation, Video, Access Control, Alarm Systems, Troubleshooting, Security, CCTV, Card Readers, IP Cameras *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
