National Grid is hiring a Global Functions Finance Director for our Central Performance and Planning team About the Role
In this role, you will lead the Global Functions Performance & Planning team, driving the redesign of global planning processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will take ownership of the end-to-end processes related to quarterly forecasts, the strategic business plan, and the annual budget cycle, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing monthly and quarterly business reviews, guaranteeing that the quality of content is fit for purpose and meets the expectations of stakeholders. As the primary liaison for the Global Functions team, the Global Functions CFO, and Business Unit Finance teams, you will facilitate communication and collaboration across various groups, including Group and Plan to Perform. You will also be tasked with creating improved financial performance reporting, which encompasses variance analysis, KPI tracking, and comparative analysis against benchmarks. This reporting will provide strategic insights tailored for an executive audience, enabling informed decision-making. Additionally, you will design reporting processes in collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups to promote and implement best practices. It is important to note that as business needs evolve over time, your projects and job responsibilities may also change to adapt to these new requirements. What You'll Do

#LI-NK1 #LI-HYBRID #LI-Financial Modelling Annual Salary Waltham and surrounding area: $181,000-$213,000 Brooklyn and surrounding area: $194,000-$228,000 Salary commensurate with experience and location. This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
