This position plays a pivotal role in reuniting unclaimed property with the rightful owners. Unclaimed property includes things like bank accounts, uncashed paychecks, stocks or dividends, insurance payouts, utility deposits, and safe deposit box contents. This position will review unclaimed property claims received by the state, evaluate claim documentation to determine entitlement to the unclaimed property, research to validate information and documentation provided, and decide on claim approval or next steps. Work Schedule This position will have the opportunity for a hybrid (remote and in-office) work location schedule; in-office work will be from Treasury's office in Salem. This position will have:
Salary Range $50,484 - $70,104 annually. Job Classification This position is classified as a Public Service Representative 4. This position is a SEIU represented position . Required Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience performing public contact and/or customer service duties comparable to the work of a Public Service Representative.
