Description

Training



  • Master the use of agency Learning Management System (LMS) use to assign and track training registration and completion. Use Formstack to track external training registrations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to agency staff and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain system to execute and track training plans and compliance for various entities in the agency and ensure execution. May collaborate with People & Culture if plans are for individual staff members.
  • Create ways to streamline processes within the Training Department.
  • Maintain, schedule, and update all project calendars, and manage meeting related activities including room reservations, audio visual equipment and set up, meeting materials, beverages, etc. This can include supportive services to meet individual staff needs.
  • Compose general correspondence such as emails, cover letters, and evaluation summaries.
  • Coordinates, and maintains program service schedules, files and records including all documentation related to awarding continuing education credits.
  • Create and distribute certificates for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) training.
  • Create and/or prepare spreadsheets, forms, reports, documents, and statistics as required.
  • Work in conjunction with Training Coordinator to plan tasks to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Create basic JCFS-specific training using Articulate software.


Onboarding/Talent Acquisition



  • Assist in facilitating job posting in applicant tracking system and third-party job boards, maintaining accurate job postings based on agency needs.
  • Manage onboarding process including, but not limited to, preparation of offer letters, communicating pre-employment requirements to candidates and ensuring requirements are completed prior to start date and completing background checks.
  • Communicate with all parties involved in the recruitment and onboarding processes, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and proactively communicating to candidates throughout the onboarding process.
  • Conduct reference checks, as needed
  • Ensures all pre-placement requirements are successfully completed in accordance with legal compliance and company policy

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Some college coursework completed, minimum two (2) years' related experience in human resources or administrative support
  • At least one (1) year experience with database or Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel and power point).
  • Ensure agency compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws as well as requirements by entities that oversee agency programs, accreditation, and licensure.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with UKG or other HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with health insurances, life insurances, and retirement savings benefits
  • Two years providing support to a Director level or above.
  • Three years' experience in a human resources department supporting recruitment or human resources operations.
  • Ability to grasp foundational laws and best practices related to human resources.
  • PHR or SHRM certified
  • Ability to visit locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation in the Chicago Metropolitan area; reliable method of travel needed.
  • Experience with health services and/or non-profit environment


This is a non-bargaining unit position.

  • Compensation: The minimum compensation for this position is starting at $46,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience.
