- Client is seeking a detail-oriented Passivation Machine Operator to join our team at our Indianapolis facility.
- In this role, you will perform critical operations to ensure proper cleaning and finishing of medical device components through passivation.
- Operate passivation equipment using established procedures and safety protocols.
- Differentiate between 1st pass and 2nd pass during processing.
- Read and interpret prints, routers, and work instructions accurately.
- Use calipers and other precision measurement tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Peel and clean parts as needed to prepare for passivation.
- Follow the steps outlined in the production router to maintain process integrity.
- Differentiate parts when running multiple part numbers simultaneously, using a numbering system to ensure traceability.
- Troubleshoot and fix alarms on the Small Passivation line to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all measurements and documentation are accurate and compliant with quality standards.
- Know how to fill out Passivation Certs
- Follow the steps of the router
- Know how to fill out F-1022 router (including the F-1022 attachment)

Required Skills:

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or metal finishing environment.
- Complete Passivation Certifications and fill out F-1022 routers, including the F-1022 attachment forms.
- Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Good attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- The ability to read technical documents and mechanical aptitude.
- Good ability to read technical prints and process documentation.
