ABOUT THE JOB

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing, investigating, and posting payments against open items on customer accounts, as well as responding to customer accounts receivable inquires and discrepancies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Account Application and Reconciliation



  • Apply customer payments
  • Research and resolve overpayments and underpayments
  • Apply customer credits as requested
  • Process customer refund checks as requested


Reporting



  • Review, update and maintain all reporting
  • Maintain various department spreadsheets


Administrative



  • Email and fax correspondence and distribution for the department
  • Filing
  • Department mailings
  • Maintain and revise department forms as


      ABOUT YOU:



      • High School diploma or E.D required; Associates degree preferred
      • 3+ years of relevant work experience required
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Organized and detail orientated
      • Ability to multitask and work well while meeting deadlines
      • JD Edwards software experience preferred
      • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience
      • High Attention to detail
      • Excellent data entry speed accuracy
      • Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.

      Expected Compensation: $20.00/hr.
