Responsibilities

The position will focus mainly on the design of public spaces, including parks, trails, and green stormwater infrastructure. The ideal candidate, however, should also have an interest and willingness to work on other private projects for higher education and sustainability focused development projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, assisting our engineering team with the following:

    Assisting in site and stormwater planning, conceptual design studies, and writing of technical reports.
  • Assisting in the progression of schematic level to final construction documentation design
  • Assisting in the development of: design drawings, design calculations, construction cost estimating, writing construction specifications, design reports, and permit application packages
  • The ideal candidate would will need to possess the necessary skills involving design drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D and understanding the fundamentals of hydrology and hydraulics.


Qualifications

  • EIT (preferred by not required)
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering
  • 0-3 years of relevant design experience
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D and H&H modeling preferred.
  • Strong interest to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Our Philadelphia office is conveniently located in Center City Philadelphia, blocks away from City Hall and all SEPTA and PATCO rail lines. This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
