Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our global project team. This internship provides hands-on experience in modern manufacturing technologies, with a focus on automation systems, process optimization, and advanced manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation and eager to gain real-world experience on a global level and an Engineering Tomorrow mentality.

This is an onsite, year-round internship at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of manufacturing, testing and material Handling solutions.
  • Support the development and documentation of projects and standard procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Collect, organize and analyze production data, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help integrate new equipment, including robotic systems, PLCs, vision systems, and smart manufacturing tools.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving production issues.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Background & Skills

Required Qualifications



  • Senior Industrial / Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Science Student or Equivalent Work experience
  • Basic knowledge about assembly manufacturing
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD) and MS. Office Package
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing a PHDs or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing or automation setting.
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, SCADA, MES, IoT or manufacturing, or smart factory principles.
  • Basic Power BI
