Job Summary

Teach graduate-level courses in the Public Policy program. Depending on need and scheduling, courses can be either in-person, online or employ a hybrid model.

Essential Functions



  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to teaching methodology, curriculum development and evaluation.
  • Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes.
  • Schedule office hours per week for student availability.
  • Schedule administrative time for course preparation.
  • Maintain communication with the department head regarding any course or student issues.
  • Develop lessons plans, readings and assignment in line with course objectives
  • Teach course materials in the appropriate course modality
  • Communicate effectively with students and provide feedback as needed
  • Respond in a timely manner to student and university-related communications
  • Perform other similar duties as assigned


Required Qualifications



  • Terminal degree in a field relevant to public policy and/or extensive work experience and subject matter expertise.
