Job Description:

We're looking for Staff Auditors with experience in Financial Services industry verticals including but not limited to Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, & Fintech. As a Staff Auditor, you'll expand your knowledge and grow relationships. With access to many resources and team support, this is what of your work includes:

  • Participating on annual audit, review, and compilation of engagements with a variety of clients.
  • Participating in all aspects of financial statement preparation and assisting with the planning of the engagements.
  • Performing a large amount of technical work and continuing to develop technical skills.
  • Maintaining an outstanding relationship with clients to increase customer happiness and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.
  • We promote partnership and working together, so that means working with your audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process. We encourage creativity and to grow your expertise, which could make a difference at our firm.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of recent public accounting external auditing experience.
  • Your background should have experience in external audit working with Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, & Fintech clients.
  • Organization, social, technical, and accounting and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff as well as build and lead positive relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • This position requires meeting the education requirement for CPA certification in your aligned home office state. Having a CPA license in that state already is even better.
  • Being proficient at Microsoft Excel as a minimum qualification.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $52,500.00 - $111,500.00 per year.
