We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Unified Telemetry team. This role involves creating seamless and secure solutions and ensuring delivery of exceptional user experiences. As a full-stack developer, you will work across the stack, contributing to both the front-end and back-end architecture and implementation. This is an opportunity to participate in a fun, demanding, fast-paced environment for individuals who thrive on new challenges and creative solutions.



Responsibilities


  • Design and develop RESTful API Endpoints, ensuring high performance, scalability and maintainability.



  • Collaborate with other Front-End Engineers and develop dynamic, responsive and user-friendly web applications.



  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand feature requirements, gather technical requirements, and develop new features



  • Create and maintain documentation of application design, configuration and maintenance.



  • Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned.





Required Qualifications


  • 2+ years professional experience working with medium/large complex code bases



  • Experience in Full Stack development



  • Proficient in JavaScript, Node, and/or Python



  • Desire to collaborate and to develop strong and positive team relationships



  • Experience/Ability in writing maintainable tests to ensure code quality and reliability



  • Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.





Bonus Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree



  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.



  • Knowledge of React/React Native/TypeScript



  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum





This position will be based in the Playstation office in Madison, WI! We are located in the heart of downtown right on the Capitol Square with an outstanding view of the east side and many phenomenal restaurants and social opportunities right outside the door. We have a very flexible work from home policy: live close enough to the office for occasional in-person meetings and events, otherwise work in the office as much or as little as preferred! Although your home base will be Madison, the team includes members from multiple PlayStation offices - strong abilities to collaborate in a hybrid environment is a must.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$132,400 $198,600 USD
