Maintenance Electrician

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician to be based out of Pendleton, Oregon. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

What you'll do:

Maintenance Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Test, locate, and repair trouble in electrical circuits and equipment; perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting; repair and replace broken or defective parts.
  • Use knowledge of principles, methods and equipment in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Work within team environment with minimum supervision.
  • Perform inspections of building and equipment required by regulatory agencies.


What you'll bring:



  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing electrical/mechanical maintenance in an industrial/ manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
  • Experience with installation of machinery and equipment as well as dis-assembly.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner.
  • Must supply own hand tools and toolbox.
  • Able to lift and/or move 50 pounds unassisted.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $26.00 to $32.00. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
