What we need

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you strategically drive the design, development and enhancement of the overall technical solution leveraging Salesforce tools and technologies. You must possess extensive knowledge of the technical solutions implemented in Provider management Health Cloud systems and act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for complex discussions and design processes. In addition, you would need to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to design solutions, and drive the successful delivery of projects.

Your experience in Salesforce technologies will be critical to guide the team to successful maintenance of Provider Salesforce Application. Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure that the platform (production and multiple non-production environments) and its supporting processes are stable and available 24x7 and that the end-to-end technical processes drive long-term value to our business stakeholders. Prior experience focusing on the healthcare payer space is a plus.

Your Day to Day

  • Collaborate with a cross functional team of architects, product owners and analysts to understand requirements and architecture to develop robust software applications
  • Work closely with developers to implement enhancements and updates to existing Salesforce health cloud platform.
  • Architect and design solutions to deliver in collaboration with business stakeholders on Health cloud Provider Network Management.
  • Ensure that Salesforce application adheres to security and compliance standards at BCBSMA.
  • Monitor the performance and health of Salesforce environments and release updates to ensure the uninterrupted operations.
  • Establish the milestones for the various sprints and releases that would be required to deliver solutions to all the prioritized requirements.
  • Mentor the team with Agile knowledge to ensure scrum and other relevant methodologies are understood and applied.
  • Perform code reviews and technical design and specifications.
  • Perform technical analysis on the product, architecture & design, application and integration development lifecycle process and provide feedback to project leaders and product owners.
  • Evaluate existing application for vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.

We're Looking for:

  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud platforms and experience are highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, specialized in Salesforce enablement, Architect, Design, Developing custom Salesforce applications, Salesforce Industries in Health cloud, Data migration, and Integrations with other systems for clients in cross industry.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience as an Architect on an agile project working closely with client leadership to drive, design and develop solutions while working to integrate multiple components on a project.
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with Software programming (Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, Omnistudio, Flows, Integrations)
  • Expertise in Salesforce Industries Health cloud, Provider Network Management
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Agent force
  • Certified Salesforce Application Architect
  • Demonstrated experience leading time-sensitive, complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders and/or external vendors using agile /sprint methodologies.

LocationBoston Time TypeFull time Salary Range: $159,390.00 - $194,810.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
