Responsibilities

$5,000 sign on bonus for fully licensed clinician. This position is located in Oakley, Utah. We do offer a commuter stipend of $300 per month for commutes longer than 35 miles each way.

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of families while having a blast? As our Family Therapist Extraordinaire, you'll be the go-to superhero for families on your caseload! You'll lead engaging therapy sessions, facilitate fun family orientations, and create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Family Liaison: Be the friendly face and proactive communicator that families can count on. You'll be their trusted guide on this journey!

Therapy Wizard: Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using Newport Healthcare's magical clinical model and the enchanting Attachment-Based Family Therapy approach.

Orientation Host: Roll out the red carpet for new families with exciting orientations, warm welcome presentations, and lively family support groups.

Documentation Dynamo: Keep everything organized and up-to-date! You'll complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and more, all while having fun with your tech tools like Word, Outlook, and EMR.

Team Player: Join our weekly treatment team meetings and staff gatherings, where collaboration and creativity are key. Bring your ideas and enthusiasm!

Community Ambassador: Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences, spreading the word about the amazing work we do!


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided
  • Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults required.
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders or trauma-informed treatment preferred
  • Willingness to be trained to provide family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
