Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Program Manager to support LMI's Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) account. The Program Manager will lead multiple project delivery teams, drive program schedules, manage project financials, and ensure high quality delivery of LMI contracts. A successful Program Manager will be highly skilled in program management, communication, project planning, and financial management. A successful Program Manager will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. A background in digital transformation, data visualization, and/or software development is highly desired. The Program Manager must demonstrate competency in leadership, strategic thinking, relationship management, multitasking, schedule management, and delivery excellence, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities
Management of complex Agile projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocated
- Monitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project's development and execution
- Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterparts
- Prioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign resources to each project
- Track cost, schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop project specific policy, procedures and report status to all levels
- Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution
- Manage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in services delivery
- Serve as a key communicator-translating complex technical or operational information into clear, actionable updates for stakeholders.
- Mentor team members, foster collaboration, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy. When appropriate, propose a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustments
- Prepare briefing charts, schedule meetings, keep records and record minutes, prepare after-action reports in support of technical reviews
- Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities
- Successfully manage subcontract relationships, teams and contracts
- Anticipate and resolves procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategy
- Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities
- Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations
- Present program status updates to Senior Leadership, under the guidance of the Senior Program Manager
- Complete administrative activities such as Project Portal updates, project setup, financial reviews, and other activities as assigned
- Perform start-up and oversight of new on-contract growth opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Minimum of 8 years consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years program management and/or task leadership experience
- Experience in the areas of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies
- Technically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadership
- Product management or related product lifecycle experience
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a "client first" attitude
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to successful outcomes
- Exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of program management best practices
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needs
- High level of business acumen, ability to develop and implement strategy
- Strong connector - make insightful connections to bring the right people together to solve problems and grow the business
- This position requires a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Master's degree or higher
- Prior experience managing teams who develop data visualizations within Power BI and Power Automate
- General knowledge of the VA acquisition lifecycle
- Organizational change management understanding and/or certifications preferred
- Experience working within the VA or supporting federal healthcare IT projects
- Experience working with doctorate level stakeholders
- Experience or knowledge of suicide prevention and/or program evaluation
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or SAFe Agilist
Target salary range: $109,000 - $189,000 Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
