About this role
Position: Operations Supervisor General Purpose The Operations Supervisor assists with planning, coordinating and executing the operations of the organization. This individual is responsible for assisting the Regional Operations Manager with improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership of operations and warehouse associates of one or more facilities
- Daily shipping feedback/invoice processing and review, including achieving freight recovery goals
- Review standard daily, weekly, monthly reporting packages for maintaining ERP accuracy
- Resolve accounting (both AP and AR) issues working with Customers, Customer Service, Vendors and Corporate
- Responsible for Inventory Management, including cycle counting and slow turning inventory management
- Serve as point of contact for transactional support and resolution in ERP for customer service and warehouse teams
- Work with customer service, warehouse, and procurement teams to facilitate customer credits and vendor returns, including approving or denying
- Direct order processing, WT and OE
- Order entry such as corrections, returns, and progressive payment jobs, as needed
- Be familiar with approved list of suppliers for goods and services
- Answer phones, mail distribution, filing and other duties, as needed
- Any other tasks as assigned by lead/manager
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with five (5) years related experience.
- Proven experience in leadership
- Proven experience in implementing operational processes
- Proven project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience and familiarity with LEAN principles a plus
- Knowledge of operational principles and policies
- Preferred experience utilizing an ERP
- Preferred experience within an industrial distribution and/ or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented, including accurate data entry skills
- Capable of working independently, as well as a team member

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to understand written and oral English and be proficient with computer, email, spreadsheets and look up documents online
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Ability to work in environments that may include:
- Moving mechanical parts
- Fumes or airborne particles
- Painting chemicals and solvents
- Electrical equipment
