Astrion is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to lead a broad range of Integrated Product Support efforts including New Equipment Training, Fielding, and logistics. Candidate must be within daily commuting distance of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: 20%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited academic institution or military school.
  • The candidate shall have a minimum of six (6) years of experience managing contractor personnel administration consisting of over 100 personnel, establishing work priorities, developing resource utilization plans, and accomplishing task order requirements.
  • Experience managing a contract or task order with a total contract value greater than $200M with scope including a broad range of efforts such as, integrated product support (IPS), field service representatives (FSRs), new equipment fielding (NEF), new equipment training (NET), training development, logistics specialists, logistics, property management, exercise and demonstration planning, and reporting.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PRINCE2 certification, or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Active Secret clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To support management, organizational and business tasks, consults as an SME to solve
  • complex problems in technical areas, including but not limited to science, logistics, asset
  • management, research, and risk.
  • Collaborates with customer(s) to determine specific needs and requirements and to counsel within the expert area, including overseeing task execution.
  • Provides expert technical analyses and advice in specific technical areas to support
  • management, organizational, and business decisions.
  • Participates in meetings, task groups, teams, reviews, and other environments to assist in collaborative results.
  • Conducts site visits, investigations, and studies to gather information.
  • Prepares reports, presentations and papers to document findings, opinions and
  • Leads teams in accomplishing tasks and trains junior-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.
