Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: U.S. Remote

JOB STATUS: Full-Time

TRAVEL: Less than 10%

JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Manager will lead the Compliance Team, overseeing the procurement compliance program to ensure adherence to federal regulations, maintain an approved purchasing system, and support industry best practices and organizational objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree and 10-12 years of experience with compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably within a federal government contracting environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements, such as FAR, DFAR, FFATA and CPSR requirements to maintain approved system and compliance standards relevant to the industry.

  • Ability to understand, interpret, provide feedback on, and implement updated guidance based on regulatory changes.

  • Ability to successfully support a fast-paced, high-volume workload.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to collaborate and implement a unified approach to compliance and risk management.

  • Skills proficiency in communication (verbal and written), time management, and attention to detail.

  • U.S. citizenship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with Costpoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish, manage, and oversee the Compliance Department, ensuring effective operations and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Assess compliance risks related to procurement activities to ensure adherence to federal regulations and industry best practices.

  • Conduct pre- and post-award compliance reviews to verify regulatory compliance and maintain an approved purchasing system.

  • Update, maintain, and implement internal policies and procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and deliver compliance training to procurement staff and stakeholders, promoting awareness and adherence to compliance standards.

  • Establish and maintain procurement resources, templates, and relevant forms to support efficient and compliant procurement processes.
