POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide hands on technical leadership in identifying and developing application solutions that measure, track, and support improved business performance Model and maintain database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, packages and procedures, to meet application requirements for optimal user experience Oversee and perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code/reports, to testing and release/deployment Serve as team lead liaison with end-users, project stakeholders, and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business objectives Plan, implement, and support department SQL Server database and Spotfire Server to include backup recovery Perform testing to identify early application flaws and participate in design and code reviews Participate in maintenance, application loads, and troubleshooting as necessary Recommend procedure standards to assure application design and coding is produced with proper integrity, security and performance Provide technical assistance and mentoring to other systems development professionals Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
