Join the Enbridge team as our Revenue Billing Supervisor!

Are you an outcome focused professional with a passion for revenue accuracy, team development and cross functional collaboration? We are excited to welcome a Revenue Billing Supervisor to lead a high performing team that is responsible for the accurate and timely invoicing, recording, and reporting of revenue accounts receivable across UST, Offshore and M&N LP assets.

In this pivotal role, you will interact closely with senior leaders and key departments including Contracts, Credit, Legal, Marketing, Treasury, Capacity Services and Link- to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with accounting standards. You'll supervise the review of billing support schedules and lead a team of Senior Advisors, Advisors and Accounting Analysts, providing daily mentorship and strategic guidance while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with billing staff to ensure proper understanding of new and revised billing requirements with accounting impacts
  • Review and approve transactions related to revenue and billing of oil and natural gas pipelines
  • Maintain appropriate SOX control documentation, and ensure the team is aware of SOX control requirements
  • Proactively identify and implement internal process improvements in order to optimize efficiencies, improve the quality of billing information, and develop new reports as needed for senior management
  • Review and approve preparation of various monthly/quarterly reports (both for reporting purposes and SOX controls purposes)
  • Assist accounting team to generate appropriate revenue data from the link system for FERC reporting and compliance
  • Supervise monthly net credit refund process related to invoicing
  • Review account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Supervise the creation of ad hoc reports related to customer invoicing and revenue
  • Directly supports the manager in the day-to-day operations of the department, and assist in coordinating performance of work across the billing functions for the team
  • Perform primary coaching and performance assessment responsibilities for team members
  • Contributes to business discussions by asking questions to ensure there is understanding of the issues and impacts
  • Complete special projects as requested

Who you are:

You have:

  • 8+ years of related experience along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • A solid understanding of FERC reporting fundamentals in addition to US GAAP, reporting standards and financial controls

You can:

  • Show that you are a proven leader with outstanding decision-making skills who is a great teammate with strong work ethic and a positive demeanor
  • Solve problems effectively by using analytical skills to reach a logical conclusion while being an effective coach and mentor

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can be clear, concise and organized in their communication with internal and external customers
  • Proficient working with various applications to include LINK, SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A highly motivated and productive individual who can delegate preparation tasks to the team while handing competing priorities

The following are considered assets:

  • CPA designation is a plus

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
