Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to oversee our IT operations, ensure the security and efficiency of our systems, and collaborate with various departments to meet their technological needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement. TheIT Operational Support Lead, plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the IT department and business operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing IT projects, analyzing business processes, and coordinating the implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement through technology. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Lead and guide digitalization initiatives for the GKN Aerospace Engines business line.
  • Maintain regular contact with internal and external customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Integrate constant improvement into daily routines and processes.
  • Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures. Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on IT performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our IT landscape.

Job Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience as an IT Leader in desktop support including in-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, best practices and understanding of IT policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • 1 year experience in IT project management
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders at all levels


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience in a global manufacturing environment
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, or certifications related to manufacturing IT systems.
  • Automation and OT knowledge
  • Microsoft 365 expertise
