Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with our mortgage loan corporation client in their McLean, VA location. This is a 6 month + contract and onsite position.

Summary:

Our parent Organization provides product delivery support for the client's Single-Family line of business.

Specifically, we support the Investor Reporting program which aligns across several servicing platforms, processes from customer experience perspective.

Our Modern Delivery Team for Investor Reporting collaborates with partners and clients to understand the customer needs, prioritize and scope releases, design quality solutions that are Simple, Connected, Clear.

The client's Investor Reporting Initiative converts our Single-Family investor reporting requirements to be closer to an industry standard and update remittance cycles. The initiative will also help support the disclosure and buyout requirements of the Single Security. As one of our core initiatives under Investor Reporting, the modernization of the legacy servicing loan translation is a momentous step towards many more innovative solutions.

The Full Stack Developer will work closely with end-users to deliver a web application for capturing and visualizing Data Lineage. This is a new application to automate data lineage and other metadata. The project innovates a fundamental requirement of data governance how to keep the metadata correct with minimum toil.

Successful candidates will be responsible for developing new applications from the ground up. We are looking for innovative candidates in an emerging field.

Responsibilities:


  • As a Product Analyst Senior, you will:

    • Help prioritize and plan the upcoming sprints
    • Leverage data mapping skills involving JSON and XML files
    • Understand data flows to help create relevant stories
    • Work with product owner and Business Lead to scope & plan changes
    • Facilitate requirements capturing and user story grooming sessions with stakeholders and document user-stories with clear acceptance criteria
    • Partner with your Development Lead and Architects to find innovative solutions
    • Work with teammates to clarify the requirements and scope and test developed solutions to ensure the accurate business outcome
    • Work with other interface teams including the data model, architecture, support teams and be a crucial liaison in iteratively developing and maturing the Investor Reporting
    • Responsibilities include contributing across the technology stack, from database and the DevOps infrastructure that supports continuous deployment, to front-end UI and server-side service development.
    • Leads initiatives to analyze complex business/product problems to be solved with automated systems.
    • Advises teams by providing technical and strategic insights to identify and address business/product issues and opportunities and ensures that technical procedures align with the business/product vision.
    • Responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology and a specific business product.
    • Identifies needs of the users/customers and recommends alternative methods for meeting those needs.
    • Facilitator of knowledge sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the company.
    • Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable.
    • Works under limited direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
    • Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives.
    • Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.






Requirements:


  • 5+ years of related experience
  • College degree or work equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in business, system, data analysis is preferred
  • Mortgage Industry or Financial Services experience is preferred
  • Agile development experience is preferred
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft technologies.
  • Product certifications a plus (CSPO, CSM)
