Summary Provide creative content and project management leadership in the areas of graphic design and copywriting for business development, branding, strategy, employee training, and employee recognition projects. Identify issues and offer solutions, participate in developing timelines and project task lists, production, fulfillment, implementation and project close out. Strategically manage the creative design for National Alliance and ensure visual communications standards, brand rules and corporate style are met across various media. Collaborate and prepare creative content for social media and other communication channels. Ensure organizational materials are current in digital library and evaluate usage. Description

Location:This is a full-time hybrid position working (3 days per week) in a typical office environment. Monday and Thursday are core office days, the third day onsite is "floating", the remaining 2 days are remote. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need to work overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.

What You Will Do:

  • Reviews materials and information presented by marketing and product teams and discuss various production factors to determine most desirable presentation concept.
  • Organizes and leads creative brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts and executions.
  • Coordinate between marketing, internal teams, external vendors (as needed) and subject matter experts to create winning strategies and materials.
  • Creates, writes/edits, completes lay out, and produces a variety of materials (text, custom graphics, internal/external presentations, letters, documents, videos, etc.) for both outside vendors and internal departments.
  • Selects appropriate media and design materials and ensures all materials have been reviewed/approved for content accuracy.
  • Secures final approval of all marketing materials. Coordinates revisions, printing, and distribution of these materials.
  • Maintains online library of marketing materials and other information relevant to marketing teams and clients.
  • Responds to and completes Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Inquiries (RFI) for various health plans in timely manner.
  • Works closely with management, subject matter experts and staff to develop high quality proposals.
  • Plans, budgets/estimates, and manages the resources necessary to produce marketing materials.
  • Communicates this information efficiently and effectively in order to gain buy in.
  • Prepares and submits activity reports (weekly/monthly/annual) as determined by management.
  • Develops, writes/edits, and updates content for appropriate division's website.

To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need The Following:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required Work Experience: Five years of progressive communications/marketing experience to include leading the design, development and production of communication or marketing pieces/materials.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with the content/design/production process of marketing/promotional materials.
  • Excellent judgment, customer service, presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Required Software and Tools: Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Email content management tools, such as MailChimp, Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint.

We Prefer You Have The Following

  • Prior project management experience including communications calendar, managing projects in different areas
  • Proven skill in communicating to both internal and external audiences
  • Experience with responding to RFPs and RFIs
  • Ability to conceptualize, target, and implement marketing strategies/campaigns.
  • Ability to translate business/product information into consumer language.
  • Knowledge of design/art direction.
